Nigel Smith - Nigel is the Chair Person of Changing Our Lives. Nigel is a powerful champion for the rights of people with learning disabilitites. Nigel has an important role on the board, making sure the organisation remains led by people with disabilities.
Ron Silvester - Ron has worked with Changing Our Lives for 8 years, supporting people with learning disabilities to achieve equal citizenship. Ron has a wealth of experience of services over the past 30 years and uses this experience to ensure the organisation strives to improve the lives of people with disabilities.
Steve Dugmore - Steve retired as a Police Officer in March 2011. He was in the West Midlands Police for 36 years and retired as the Chief Superintendent in charge of policing in Sandwell. Steve continues to work in Sandwell on a voluntary basis at Sandwell College, Rights Equality Sandwell and a Group insurance scheme. Steve gave a lot of his time to the community and Sandwell partnership whilst serving in the police. He loves anything on two wheels and spends a lot of his free time riding motorcycles.
Tony Middleton - Tony has worked in Human Resources the National Health Services since 2001 and has been a Human resources Manager since 2003. Tony has worked in both Primary Care and Acute Hispitals across the West Midlands. Tony is a 'Chartered Member' of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and also holds a B.Sc. in Biology and Human Resources Management and a Post Graduate in Human Resources Management.
John Baker - John has been a qualified solicitor since 1988. He now works for the Crown Prosecution Service and is responsible for prosecuting a range of criminal cases across the Black Country. John's legal expertise adds great value to the Board. He is also a passionate advocate for people's rights.
Robert Chance - Robert is a qualified accountant and has worked in a local accountancy practice since leaving school. He has considerable experience in tax, VAT and all types of accounts. In addition he works as a charity auditor and specialises in IT.
