Changing Our Lives has been chosen as a partner in the Co-op’s Youth Loneliness Network. This is giving us the opportunity to work with some of the most disadvantaged disabled young people in Birmingham and Walsall, linking them with each other and their local area via Community Connecting.

Jayne Leeson, MBE CEO of Changing Our Lives, said:

‘We are absolutely delighted to be part of this Network. Working with the Co-op Foundation is a good fit for Changing Our Lives, as their values of self-help, equality and solidarity run through our organisation. We have wanted to expand our Community Connecting approach to work with young people who are the most disadvantaged both economically and because of perceptions around disability, and this funding enables us to do this. We are equally excited to be working with like minded organisations and universities from around England that make up this Network.’
