Planning - Impact of co-training alongside families

Working in partnership with family carers is a powerful way to train an individual’s staff team. In 2017 working alongside Sue, Beth’s mom, we trained Beth’s staff team, focusing on achieving outcomes in her life. Ordinary Life - person centred practice

We often train social workers and other professionals to develop their practice so it becomes more person centred, outcome focused and has equal citizenship at its heart. Social workers are able to use this experience as evidence for professional registration. After training teams in 2017, here is some of their feedback:
