Changing Our Lives is looking to recruit a marketing trustee who will take a lead on the charity's marketing strategy and advance the brand identity of the charity. The board of trustees is made up of individuals with experience and expertise in a range of areas including human resources, social policy, human rights legislation, information governance and good governance. The board is committed to disabled people and people with lived experience of mental health difficulties having rich and inclusive lives. This value underpins the way they approach governance and oversee the organisation's various areas of work.

We are looking for a senior marketing professional who has significant experience leading successful marketing strategies. You will be passionate about good communication and digital media and how this can make a positive impact on people's lives. You will be dynamic and energetic, with an interest working in a sector which offers many challenges. One example of a challenge might be how the general public views disability and how marketing can make a difference to this perception.

The successful applicant will receive an induction in how Changing Our Lives works, our value base and our brand. In addition to trustee meetings, which take place 4 times a year, you may be required to spend ½ to 1 day per month working for the organisation. You may also be asked to attend specific meetings. We cover volunteer expenses. We are based in Hagley, just outside of Stourbridge in the West Midlands but work across England.
